River Spirit will be in full compliance with COVID-19 guidelines. Temperatures are taken upon entering. Conference meeting room sizes are larger to allow for social distancing while meeting and during meals. In addition to the hotel's CDC compliant cleaning and disinfecting procedures and hand sanitation stations, OASIS will provide individual hand sanitizers. Masks are required during the conference. Sign in is not required and conference materials will be bagged for you. ALL events will be held within the hotel convention center so attendees will never be required to walk through the casino.

The November 3, Meet and Greet will be held in one of the ball rooms instead of Margarittaville to limit exposure.

Conference Registration

 

2020 NAFIS Fall Conference is going virtual.

 

 

Oklahoma Districts: Registration is FREE this year, even for those districts who are not NAFIS members. Register now and OASIS will be sending out information on how you can participate with other Oklahoma districts in virtual meetings with our legislators in Washington, asking for their support in allowing school districts to use their FY 2021 student count and property valuation for their FY 2022 Impact Aid applications, vital to those schools who have lost enrollment due to COVID-19! Together we are a stronger voice and we need you with us virtually for these meetings!

The virtual event will be held September 21-23, 2020.

Though we will certainly miss the gathering of the NAFIS Family in person, we believe this is the best approach for the well-being and safety of our community. It also aligns with current and projected guidance from the Washington, DC, government and the operating status of congressional offices.

As with all NAFIS Conferences, our top priority will be Impact Aid advocacy, and a key component of this event is our virtual Hill Day on September 23. We are developing conference programming and resources to help you hold effective meetings with congressional staff from a distance.

We will be announcing speakers, panels and registration in the coming weeks. Keep up to date with the Friday NAFIS newsletter and the NAFIS website, nafisdc.org.

Cancellation Policy:

Since meals, presenters, training materials, and other costs are pre-paid by OASIS please provide notice of cancellation at least one week prior to any OASIS event you are registered to attend. Your district will not be charged for cancellations made within 7 days of the event. Cancellations within 48 hours will be charged at half price. No-shows will be charged at full price. Thank you for understanding!
